A Delayed Happy New Year-Doodle of the Day

Well my last post was last year-so it's about time I added another.  Our New Years was nice, a quiet one spent together (Beard-O and I) at home with some yummy food and movies.  We made it to about 12:30am before we called it a night.  Such party-ers eh?  The winter semester has begun, and as usual the first week makes the classes I'm taking seem quite daunting (especially the one class that involves an animation project).  Due to the fresh dumping of snow we got last night, the schools in my area were closed.  I'm in the midst of a cold right now so I couldn't have been happier to hear the news and have spent most of today resting and doing homework.  I haven't made any dessert for awhile now although I'm itching to make some brownies...I'm also a week into doing this.  So far the only major challenge I've had is trying to go to bed early...I suppose that will be even harder the further we go into this semester.
