This weekend could not have come any sooner for me and I enjoyed every second of it. We were a little naughty food-wise but I think it's important to let it slide a wee bit once in a blue moon. So slide we did - right into
this place. I had a delicious seafood sandwich and actually had room for a yummy dessert (and yes I shared!)

On Saturday we got up early and headed to Ridge to check out the Farmers Market, run errands and enjoy a meal at
this restaurant. We don't have anything like this in our town so it was definitely a special treat to enjoy a meal made with local and/or organic ingredients. The vibe in there is fantastic! I was happy to see it jam packed the entire time we were there. Gotta support the smaller businesses (especially when they go above and beyond to provide the best quality food while also supporting local farmers)!
Sunday we slept in a wee bit (yay). After a tasty breakfast (at home) of super oatmeal, Phil and I headed out for a lovely bike ride and found ourselves surrounded by farms. I kicked myself for not bringing my camera (again) but now have two areas to go back to for some photo ops. Our relaxing bike ride turned into a 2hr leg muscle torture (
just kidding). But my legs
are super super sore right now. So instead of resting, we decide to run errands on foot not once but twice! We had to drop off our first round of groceries 'cause we get too excited over fresh produce. . . By the time we got home (the second time) we were so exhausted and so hungry we toyed with the idea of ordering pizza instead of making it myself. ha.
We pushed through and made some delicious pizza for dinner and spent the evening talking and getting some things done around the house. Thanks Phil you're a super pizza chef! I'm so thankful he and I get to spend such lovely weekends together when we're
able to do whatever we please at our own pace. I know it's not always
the case and I really like to take the time to savor it when the opportunity arises.
