Weekend Wrap-up: A little late. . .

This week has been whizzing by and since I'm 2.5 hrs passed my bedtime already I thought I'd do a quick post of what I've been up to.
Yet to try my new medicine - Aloe Juice!
Leftover Salmon Cream Cheese = Delicious!
Sunny Day
Nice Night
Be careful watching TV with your ankles unattended. . . Phil attacks with his new knot tying skills.  He's getting pretty good at it eh?
New present for myself!  Can't beat a 50% off coupon. . .
A trying day makes for a fun sketching project. . .
Muffin and Coffee Date
Impossible to resist! Hedgehog Latte

My poster displayed around town!
Too many beige jokes ended up working its way into my actual wardrobe.  Next weekend = all colour!
Phil and I went on a tour of a local brewery Saturday afternoon which was pretty fun.  I'm not a big fan of alcohol - especially beer but I played the part of a good sport and was drinking my (rather large) samples trying to keep up with everyone else . . I thought there were only 4 samples and then 6 but there were 8 in total.  So unfortunately some beer went down the drain that day.  I know I know, but any more and I'd be crawling out the door. . .Plus the IPA = yick.
After our tour Phil and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at one of our favourite restaurants.  The food is always super delicious and we still have a couple coupons to use up so why not? ha, ha.
On Sunday we were given comp tickets to the races nearby so we went to blow out our ear drums - future note: bring EARPLUGS!!!! geez. . . the races were fun as usual but my darn camera batteries (yes plural! I had TWO! agh. . . ) died after a couple hours so that was a bummer. . . I haven't uploaded any of the photos yet but will post some soon.
Other than that, a big project and the usual weekend errands, that pretty much wraps it up.
Today's dinner was SO SO yummy - I had to post a couple photos.  I made my own salmon burgers and tartar sauce from this month's Whole Living magazine.  I have to say it was the best Salmon Burger I've had yet!  Definitely worth the extra effort which really wasn't that strenuous at all.  You must try!
