This weekend I was abandoned by my family (juuust kidding mom).
Since everyone seemed to be in and out of town at different times, no official Easter dinner was put together this year.
I went with my parents to visit my Grandma on Friday and had a great visit. She sent me home with some homemade Paska and chocolate eggs (I'm supposed to give one bag to my sister so it's hidden away out of sight).
On Saturday I purchased some paint and started on the bathroom makeover. It took me an embarrassing five hours to get it all done - and it's not a big bathroom. I don't know what's going on with me lately but everything I do seems to become a bigger mess and painting was no exception. I kept dripping and splattering paint all over the place and will have many touch-ups to do on my poor ceiling. Although my hair and hands seemed to get the most splatters on Saturday. . .anyway on Sunday I thought I would get some furniture shopping done but that didn't turn out as I had intended and did another four hours of painting after I got home. Needless to say I made another mess and my hands and feet are really sore so I'm hoping the walls won't need another coat.
I did a bit of Easter Egg dying since it's one tradition I refuse to give up! And I needed some hard boiled eggs for lunch tomorrow so why not!?
