Mom and I worked the popcorn station for six hours at the 'Earth Day' festival this Saturday.
It was INSANE! I don't know if it was the smell people kept commenting on or the fact it was free - but man that little station was buzzing the entire time. It was ooey gooey sweaty work and unfortunately we were stuck indoors at the back of the building pretty much all day but we had a good time overall.
Here's a peek at the trailer some of my artwork is featured on:
The cakes were for RMRS' 40th anniversary celebration - I knew I should've snuck a cupcake when I had the chance. They were all gone by the time I could sneak off to grab one. Sad.
Early in the morning while the machines were heating up I snuck away from the popcorn and quickly raced through the farmer's market portion of the festival and snagged some goodies from a few vendors. I love love love a good farmer's market and this one was definitely a success - the sun shining was a plus.

On Sunday I made myself a delicious brunch of pancakes and baked egg in a tomato. YUM! I think I enjoyed it as much as I did 'cause of all the syrup that got mixed in with the tomato . . . Afterwards I tackled a bunch of tasks around the house - a big one was cleaning off the front patio.
Yea it was filthy!
According to the weather app I should have one evening to enjoy it before four days of rain. Ha . . .
I did a bit of gardening after cleaning up two and a half garbage bags full of leaves from underneath the back stairs. I had no idea so many leaves were hidden back there and the time to clean it is definitely before all the spiders start building their webs under there. yick. I was half expecting a rodent to run past my feet but luckily non showed up. Phewf! Although three medium sized spiders were spotted near the end . . .
I hope some of my seeds sprout! Wish them luck!
