This weekend my dear friend K and I went to
this festival Sunday morning after a lovely brunch at my place. I was pleased to have the company and had a great time exploring all the different types of daffodils. I had no idea there were so many different kinds! Most of them were similar to the typical ones you'd see in the grocery stores but others were so different and unique. I was amazed at their unique beauty. I'm not sure if I'll add this festival to my yearly 'must-see' festivals but I had fun and we each went home with a package of pretty daffodils.
I was silly and left my camera at home so below are a few photos I took with my iphone:

I also did a bunch of house fixin' and finally completed the finishing touches on the ensuite. It took way longer than I had anticipated and I'll leave the decorating for later . . .Here are some sneak peeks:

A pretty relaxing and productive weekend all mixed in - although after all the painting and sanding and staining, I'm ready for another weekend! Ha . . .have a great week!
