This weekend was Phil's momma's 65th surprise birthday party. J and I were asked to help coordinate it, and she was totally surprised and didn't have any clue! When we first started planning I wasn't confidant that we'd all be able to pull it off but everything worked out well.
Phew!
Our theme was 'Travel', which was portrayed through our decorations and food. Each guest picked a country Phil's momma has traveled to and made a dish from their chosen country. This seemed like a great idea, and I suppose it was except for the massive amount of leftovers...
Sunday was spent relaxing and doing random things (including working on neglected paintings...), and just enjoyed the nothingness of the day...
