Shunshine on the Sunshine Coast

For day three of our 'staycation' Beard-O and I headed off to the Sunshine Coast for the day.  We had sort of a rough start with being stuck in traffic and missing the ferry we anticipated on taking, but eventually made it a couple hours later.  We started off in Gibsons, had some fish n' chips at this little hole in the wall place (we skipped Molly's Reach, the restaurant made famous by the show 'The Beachcombers'), explored the warf and some of the shops nearby.  Next we stopped at Roberts creek for some picture taking and gelato eatin' (YUM!). We hung out at the the beach in Sechelt as well as checked out their night market and had dinner at Daphne's Restaurant (fantastic!).  Having some time to kill before the next ferry we checked out Porpoise Bay Provincial Park and caught the sunset before heading back home (gorgeous, definitely a place to visit).  To finish off the day we shared the yummiest (and richest) piece of chocolate cake on the ferry.  If we go there again I want explore by kayak.
