Last Day of Freedom
Tonight was our last day of holidays which also means tomorrow I start my second (and final) year of school. I'm really looking forward to completing my program so I can finally finally get a job doing something more creative than I am now. I've been drawing and painting a lot this weekend (I'll post pictures throughout the week), half inspired by the local artists at different towns I've visited and half trying to find my personal style which I don't think I've found quite yet. The last half of our 'staycation' has been pretty relaxing, we spent a day at the beach and the other two days just putting around the house doing random things which I quite enjoyed. It's been a nice treat just enjoying each others company without stressing about what needs to be done and where we need to be.
5 Things I hope for this semester:
1. Each teacher instructs in a way that is clear and informative (many problems with this last year!)
2. I create a bunch of projects I'll be proud to add to my portfolio
3. I won't be so shy and speak up more in class
4. The weather holds out like last year and I don't have to drive in horrible conditions (wah!)
5. I won't have to stay up so late doing homework each night!
Happy Back to School!
