Doodles and Dessert: Weekend Wrap-up: Pumpkin Carvin'

It's almost Hallowe'en! I'm pretty impressed that I haven't busted open the box of candy I have stashed upstairs. On Saturday Phil took me here again, and the food was just as delicious as before. Unlike the service...we tried to be understanding because it was busy but still. . .afterwards we watched Rob Zombie's Halloween. I still enjoy watching the original version (and also have this month) but I have to say I love love love the new version. It has many elements from the original but many added gruesome elements thrown in. Sunday was a pretty slow day, and spent the majority of it in my art room. Phil and I carved our pumpkins while watching Charlie Brown in the evening. Phil roasted the pumpkin seeds and set our fire alarm off. Agh. Upside - the seeds taste good crunchy.
