Last night I decided to celebrate the last and final day of Summer 2011 (sad) by baking a summer fruit inspired dessert. I wanted to use peaches-mostly because they ARE SO DELICIOUS RIGHT NOW! While perusing the internet there weren't a lot of recipes that didn't involve grilling peaches. The weather today was definitely 'late fall' weather, very dark and very rainy. So needless to say grilling was out. I decided to use
this recipe, it seemed yummy and easy enough to make and a nice variation from the typical apple crisp I usually have in the fall.

At the market the other day I saw this large bin full of beautifully coloured crabapples and wonder what type of dessert I could make with them next...so far all I've found are jelly recipes...any ideas?
