Weekend Wrap-up: PNE Pinball

This weekend flew by!  I can't believe it's over already, back to work I go...
Saturday was pretty relaxed, I started painting with oils for the first time.  To the left is what I've done to this point.  So far I think watercolours are my favorite-easy clean up!
Beard-O and I managed to squeeze in a bike ride before heading off to see 'Piranha 3D'.  We tried to Friday night but a huge line-up was outside the theatre so we figured being it's opening night and all it was for that one but come Saturday night there was barely anyone there to see it!  Maybe it wasn't the much anticipated movie we assumed it was?  We thought it was fantastic, definitely the best horrible summer movie ever!  Today was spent at the PNE with my parents.  The weather decided to turn in our favour which was appreciated and we spent a long six hours weaving our way through thick crowds (the marketplace had me feeling like a human pinball being bounced between strangers), and varied vendors.  A bunch of junk food was consumed such as crepes, pizza, a milkshake and a chocolate ice cream with orange soda float (thanks lex!!).  Skee-ball was no where to be seen on the fair grounds (there was one for kids however...) and I was thoroughly disappointed!  What is happening to the fairs these days!?  Bring back the skee-ball!!  All in all it was a great day (my pictures are at mom and dad's so they'll come later).  Finishing the day with an incredibly healthy dessert of popcorn and m&ms!
Hope you had a great weekend as well!
